Responsible Gaming
This site uses play money only. If you also play for real money somewhere else, this page is worth two minutes.
Nothing here is real money
The table on this site is a practice tool. The chips are not worth anything, the balance resets when you ask it to, and there is no way to deposit, withdraw or win money. It is intended for people aged 18 or over, and in some places 21 or over.
What practice can and cannot do
Learning correct strategy genuinely reduces what the game costs you: about 4.91% of your ante instead of whatever guessing costs. What it cannot do is make the game profitable. The edge belongs to the house at every paytable in normal use, and no betting pattern, streak or system changes that. Anyone telling you otherwise is selling something.
Free-play results are also a poor guide to real play. Sessions here can run hot for a long time; that is variance, not skill, and expecting the same with money at stake is how people get hurt.
Signs worth taking seriously
- Betting more than you decided to, or more than you can comfortably lose.
- Playing to win back losses.
- Borrowing money, or hiding how much you play, from people close to you.
- Gambling to escape stress, low mood or boredom.
- Feeling restless or irritable when you try to cut down.
Any of these is worth acting on early. They are much easier to address before they compound.
Where to get help
These services are free, confidential and independent of this site:
- United States: National Problem Gambling Helpline, 1-800-522-4700, available 24/7 by call or text. ncpgambling.org
- United Kingdom: National Gambling Helpline, 0808 8020 133, free and open 24/7. begambleaware.org and gamcare.org.uk
- Anywhere: Gamblers Anonymous runs local and online meetings. gamblersanonymous.org
If you are helping someone else, those same services support family and friends, not only the person gambling.
Practical steps
- Decide a loss limit before you start, and treat it as fixed.
- Set a time limit as well: hours matter as much as stakes.
- Never gamble with money set aside for something else.
- Use the deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools real operators are required to provide.
- If you have self-excluded from real-money gambling, consider whether free-play games like this one are a good idea for you at all. For some people they are a trigger.
