This is a full Mississippi Stud simulator running in your browser. It deals from a standard 52-card deck, takes your ante, walks you through the 3rd, 4th and 5th Street decisions and settles every wager against the same pay table a casino uses. Nothing is downloaded and no account is needed.
It is play money. The balance starts at $1,000, no deposit is accepted, and nothing here can be wagered or cashed out. When the balance runs down, Reset puts it back. The point is the practice, not the score.
Turn on hints in Settings and the table tells you the correct decision before you act on every street, along with the reason: how many points your hand holds, whether a draw is still live, or why a hand is worth folding. It follows the basic strategy set out in the complete strategy guide, the chart that costs about 4.93% of your ante against the 4.91% that perfect play costs.
Statistics are kept as you play: hands dealt, how often you fold, your best hand and your running result. They are stored in your own browser and never leave it.
Mississippi Stud costs about 4.91% of your ante under perfect play. It is not beatable over the long run, and this table exists to make the decisions automatic before they cost you anything. Play responsibly.
Mississippi Stud is not played against a dealer hand. You are paid from a fixed paytable if your final five-card hand is a pair of 6s or better. Everything worse loses.
Every wager you made (the ante and all three street bets) is paid at the same odds. So a straight (4 to 1) with an ante of $5 and three 3× raises ($15 each) pays 4 to 1 on the full $50 wagered, for $200 in winnings.
A pair of 6s through 10s is a push: all of your wagers are returned. If you fold, you forfeit everything you have wagered on that hand.
An optional side bet resolved on your two hole cards plus the first community card. It is decided whether or not you fold, and it does not interact with the main hand. Note that with three cards a flush is easier to make than a straight, which is why the straight pays more.
With correct strategy the base game costs about 4.91% of the ante per hand. Because the average hand ends up with roughly 3.59 antes on the table, that works out to about 1.37% of the money actually wagered. The 3-Card Bonus on this paytable runs about 2.14%.
