Short, because the site does very little with your data.

The short version
There are no accounts, no sign-ups and no advertising cookies. Your game progress is stored in your own browser and never sent anywhere. The only third party involved is Google Fonts.
What is stored on your device
The practice table uses your browser’s local storage (not cookies) to remember your play-money balance, your statistics, whether sound and strategy hints are switched on, and which guides you have saved. This data stays on your device, is readable only by this site, and is never transmitted to us or anyone else.
Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of it. So does using private browsing.
What we collect
Nothing directly. This site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising scripts. We do not ask for your name, email or any other personal detail to use the game or read the guides.
If you submit the newsletter form, your email address goes to the email provider named in that form and is handled under their privacy policy. If no provider is connected, the form does nothing and stores nothing.
Third parties
- Google Fonts: the pages load two typefaces from Google’s servers. To deliver them, Google receives your IP address and basic browser information. See Google’s privacy policy. If you would rather avoid this entirely, the fonts can be self-hosted; ask and we will do it.
- Our web host: like every website, the server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to export or erase. Data in your browser is under your control and can be cleared at any time. If you are in the UK, EU or a US state with a privacy statute and want to make a request about server logs, contact us and we will deal with it.
Children
This site is intended for people aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Changes
If we add analytics, advertising or any other third-party script, this page will be updated before that goes live, and the date at the top will change.
